Cruise Cat

The Cruise Cat is 70 feet long and travels at a maximum speed of 25 Knots. This catamaran has fabulous views from both the top and the main deck. It is fully enclosed and is heated in winter. Whether for business meetings, staff functions, weddings or that large corporate party this launch is a must for a private charter. It is surveyed for 100 people and has seating for 75. It is 70 feet long and travels at a maximum speed of 25 Knots which makes for the smoothest, fastest ride on the Lake.

There is a large dance floor down the centre of the main deck which is also used for setting up tables for your buffet dinner giving you great access to the food. We have a variety of menu choices from breakfasts through to your main meal including pre dinner hors d’oeuvres. If you would like to theme your party we can prepare the food to match your theme. All food is prepared by Chris Jolly Outdoors own catering department.

The Cruise Cat has a daily shared scenic cruise to the Maori Rock Carvings which are an interesting feature for visitors to view. A full commentary is given on the history of the Lake as we cruise out of the Taupo Marina. The sites we visit are amazing all year round so guests can take the cruise in the heat of the summer or the cool of winter. On a clear day the majestic volcanoes of Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro make a great photo especially when they are covered in snow. Children love to feed the ducks as they fly up to you during the cruise.
