Pre-Wedding Photoshoots

Pre-wedding photoshoots are very common and popular in Asia and other parts of the world. Couples usually get their wedding photos done in full wedding outfits months before the actual wedding day. This takes away the hassle of trying to get the perfect shot on their actual wedding day. It also allows the couple to spend their entire time with their guests without having to leave them halfway to get photos done.

Lot of Asians living in New Zealand have chosen to have their pre-wedding photos taken on board our Chris Jolly Outdoors boats. We have also hosted international couples who have travelled to New Zealand just to have their pre-wedding photos done amidst our stunning landscape.

Take the hassle out of your wedding day with our photoshoot package which allows you to charter our boat for a minimum 2 hours. Our skipper will work with your photographer and take you to areas around the lake where your photographer can capture iconic Taupo images such as waterfalls, the Maori Rock Carvings and take you to spots on the lake where you can be framed by our beautiful mountains for that perfect photo. You can even add additional activities like fishing, clay bird shooting or other water activities to spice up the shots.

Actual Day Wedding Photoshoot

If you would rather have the photos done on your actual wedding day, you could also hop on our boat after your morning ceremony, have your photos taken, and return to your guests later on in the afternoon or evening.

You are more than welcome to bring your own photographer, make-up artists, flower girls, paige boys, your parents, bridesmaids, groomsmen, your pet and who ever else you wish on board. Let us know if you need help with photographers, flowers, hairdressers or event theming as we know the best local providers who would be more than happy to help create your ideal photoshoot session.

Wedding Photoshoot Package :

  • Min charter is two hours
  • Prices from $300 per hour for up to 12 pax
  • From $24 per person per hour for 13 pax and more
