Local rivers are outstanding, with the Tongariro River always front of mind when talking about premier trout rivers of the world.

Back country water accessed by 4×4, white water rafting and helicopter allow easy access to some amazing fishing. Accommodation options from camp sites to luxury lodges are all within your reach.

New Zealand has fantastic year round fishing and in the Great Lake Taupo region, winter fishing can be spectacular. The local rivers are open during spawning season and with either nymphing or wet line this will be an experience not forgotten.

Summer opens up the back country water and dry fly fishing.
