Learn Empowering Survival Skills
Most of the time we’re fine living in our world of modern conveniences. We get clean drinking water from the taps, food from the supermarkets and we have a warm insulated house to go home to.
But what would you do if a natural disaster occurs? Whether it’s a fallen tree knocking out your power for hours or getting lost wandering in the bush, knowing a few basic survival skills could be the difference between life and death.
In order to help you be a little more prepared in unwanted situations, Chris Jolly Outdoors is offering an Interactive Survival Walk where you will learn basic survival skills from finding water and food to building shelters. Our guide will show you how you can fully utilise the items you have on you and other discarded items you may find around you.
You will go through a fun and empowering learning process of show me, help me, let me. Be assured that you will leave with a set of skills you can take with you anywhere in the world.
Here are some examples of what you may learn on this interactive survival skills walk.
- How to make a fire
- How to navigate
- How to discern which insects to eat, if need be
- How to discern which plants are safe to eat or use for medicinal purposes
- How to build a trap for fish and small game
