Fly Fishing With Us
Whatever your itinerary is, we can give you a good excuse to ‘go fishin’! Experience the local rivers, or get off the grid with a heli fishing excursion into the back country.
Pack raft or raft fish remote areas, let us organise it for you. The trophy size rainbow trout and brown trout can be sighted in the crystal clear streams, challenging your skills with the dry-fly, nymph or light spinning tackle. The thrill of a big fish rising to take a tiny dry is an experience not to be missed, but a weighted nymph drifted through the deep pools also brings heart-stopping action.
All fishing packages include a specialist guide and work on a ratio of one guide to two clients, transfers to and from accommodation, equipment, licenses and catering on longer days. Multi-day packages can also include accommodation and access to crystal pools.
“I sat there and forgot and forgot until what remained was the river that went by and I who watched… Poets talk about “spots of time,” but it is really fishermen who experience eternity compressed into a moment. No one can tell what a spot of time is until suddenly the whole world is a fish and the fish is gone.”
– Norman Maclean, A River Runs Through It and Other Stories
